Rain on your engagement session or wedding day often feels like an unwelcome surprise. Many couples worry about soggy dresses, ruined hair, or missed photo opportunities. Yet, a rainy engagement session or rainy wedding day can bring a unique charm and intimacy that sunny days rarely offer. Instead of fearing the rain, embracing it can create memories and images filled with cozy comfort and dramatic beauty.

Lewis and Angie are very into the outdoors and wanted a location that would showcase their personalities. Horicon Marsh is one of their favorite spots (and also happens to be where they got engaged!) so we gladly made the short trek out to Horicon Marsh Natural Wildlife area to do their engagement photos. I greatly enjoyed chatting with them during their engagement session at Horicon Marsh and getting to know the couple. They love to travel and have more of a farm collection

Ashley and Kevin got engaged at Kohler Andrae State Park, so it was only fitting for us to take their engagement photos there!
