Extended family sessions are quickly becoming some of my favorite photo shoots! I love getting to document families spending time together especially when it's multiple generations. At extended family sessions, we usually do a couple large group photos of everyone in attendance, and then also break down into smaller family groups. We also do some of just the grandparents and grandkids, and all the grandkids/cousins together. As always additional special requests are always welcome! I love finding ways to bring out each families' unique personalities!
In this particular session, the location chosen was the families' beautiful lakefront home on Lake Winnebago in Fond du Lac, WI. The family was together (with many of them visiting from out of state!) over Forth of July weekend. I was happy to happen to be available when Steve reached out to me in late June.
