When you think of a summer wedding what visions come to mind? For me, definitely outdoors, greenery, beautiful flowers.... Jenny and Cisco's wedding at Boerner Botanical Gardens checked all those boxes and more!
Jenny booked my 6 hour package for wedding photography of the ceremony and reception for their summer wedding this past year. I had previously never been to Boerner Botanical Gardens, but after visiting, I can definitely say I will be back!
It was a super popular spot for weddings (there were 4 there on the day of Jenny and Cisco's to be exact!) and I can see why - it was absolutely gorgeous. The venue was incredible, but definitely big enough that you did not even notice there were other weddings at the same day/time.
After the beautiful ceremony we took family and bridal party photos at the gardens, as well as Jenny & Cisco's bridal portraits, then headed to the reception at Milwaukee Marriott.
The Marriott was also an incredibly beautiful and elegant venue - and let me say - Jenny and Cisco know how to throw a party! Their reception featured not only a DJ, but also a band, incredible food, donut bar, and (this was my first time seeing one) a 360 photo booth! In addition to a regular photo booth, they had a 360 photo booth which featured a round platform you stand on while the camera revolves around you and creates a short 360 video. This was such a cool and unique addition, and their guests definitely enjoyed it as well! Check out a few of my favorite photos from the day below!
